Stickman Weekly was first published in April 2001 when I felt that the existing sections of Stickman's Guide To Bangkok didn't allow for the posting of information that may quickly go out of date. And so Stickman Weekly was born.
It took a little time for the column to find its feet but once the format was sorted, it has remained the same ever since. Every week the column features a think / opinion piece, a picture competition, news and views of the week's happenings and a question and answer section featuring questions about relationships between Western men and Thai women as well as general curiosities about Thailand that can baffle us.
I strive to publish the column online every Sunday at or just before 6 PM Bangkok time which corresponds to the following times around the world. Admittedly, sometimes this deadline is not always met...

Feedback is very welcome and the best or most interesting emails of the week may appear in the emails to Stick the following week. Preference is given to
emails which relate to something in the previous week's column. With the exceptions of the excerpts from readers' emails in the emails to Stick section, the thoughts in the column are mine. This column should not be looked at as anything more than one man's opinion of life in Bangkok.
